THE CORPORATION OF THE

TOWNSHIP OF McMURRICH / MONTEITH

 

                                                                   BY-LAW  NO.  5  - 2008

 

                        Being a bylaw to provided for Fees Charged by the Corporation

 

 

WHEREAS the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c25, Section 391, 392, 394 (1)(2) and 400 gives authority for a municipality to impose fees and charges,

 

AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of McMurrich/Monteith charges various fees for licenses, permits and services offered by the Corporation.

 

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Township of McMurrich/Monteith deems it desirable to create a comprehensive by-law to provide for the charging of fees,

 

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Township of McMurrich/Monteith enacts as follows:

 

That the fees set out in Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of this by-law shall be charged for licenses, permits, services and documents listed therein.

 

That if the provisions of this bylaw conflict with any other bylaw of the Corporation heretofore passed then the provisions of this bylaw shall prevail.

 

That this bylaw shall come into force on the final passing hereof.

 

 

Read a FIRST , and SECOND TIME this        3rd       day of   March   , 2008.

 

 

Read a THIRD TIME and PASSED this    7th    day of April  , 2008.

- Appliances with FREON not removed - $35.00 each

- asphalt shingles and demolition material depends

on size of truck load  (from $5.oo to $150.oo)

first 15 minutes free

--    $10.00 per  15 min. period for time in excess of first 15 min.

Information Requests that entail compiling the data since it is not recorded in the form or subject category requested --$10.00 per 15 min. period.  Should the fee   possibly exceed $25.oo an estimate will be provided and a deposit of 1/2 the          estimated costs will be required for the work to continue.
