 MINUTES OF McMURRICH/MONTEITH TOWNSHIP

COUNCIL MEETING – MARCH 9^th, 2007

McMurrich/Monteith Township council met on Friday, March 9^th, 2007 at 11:30a.m. in the municipal office/fire hall in Sprucedale.

Present were Reeve, Glynn Robinson, Councilors: Heather Wilson, Mervin Mulligan, John Murphy, and David Evans.

Meeting was called to order at 11:30pm by Reeve Glynn Robinson. 

This special council meeting was called to review make a decision on the personnel issue.

There were no declarations of pecuniary interest from the Council members.

Evans - Murphy            That with regret, we terminate the employment of Shawn Armstrong.     CARRIED

Councillor Murphy requested a recorded vote:  Yays: Evans, Mulligan, Murphy, Wilson, and Robinson  Nays: Nil

Evans – Murphy           That we advertise for a Full-time Roads Foreman.  CARRIED

Wilson – Mulligan         That we adjourn at 11:57am  until the Budget Meeting March 27, 2007.              CARRIED
