Minutes of Township of McMurrich May 12, 2006

McMurrich/Monteith Township council met on Friday, May 12^th, 2006 at 7:30pm on the call of Reeve, Glynn Robinson in order to discuss the Recreation Committee and a request to use the ball field for a baseball tournament.

Present were: Reeve Glynn Robinson, John Murphy, Heather Wilson, and Mervin Mulligan. Absent was Carol Maki.

Tina Scott and Bonnie Robinson were also present.

Mulligan – Wilson That Reeve Robinson has called a special meeting to discuss the Recreation Committee. CARRIED

Murphy – Mulligan That the whole of Council become the Recreation Committee until a time comes that a new committee can be appointed. CARRIED

Tina Scott presented the details of the ball tournament being held on June 10, 2006.

Wilson – Mulligan Council approves the fundraising ball tournament to be held June 10/06 being organized by Tina Scott and a group of volunteers provided that all necessary requirements are fulfilled. CARRIED

Murphy – Mulligan That we do now adjourn at 8pm until June 5 or the call of the Reeve. CARRIED
