McMurrich/Monteith Township May 2, 2006 Minutes

McMurrich/Monteith Township council met on Monday, May 2^nd, 2006 at 9:30a.m. in the municipal office/fire hall in Sprucedale in order to discuss the 2006 Budget.

Present were Reeve, Glynn Robinson, Councilors: Heather Wilson, Mervin Mulligan, John Murphy with Carol Maki absent with regret.

There were no members of the audience.

Meeting was called to order at 9:30am by Reeve Glynn Robinson.

The tender for the Pickup Truck (Tender 2006-01) was clarified after talking to the Vehicle Dealers. Edmonds GM - $474.90/mos payment (30,000 km pkg)

Bray Motors - $504.69/mos payment (30,000 km pkg

- $459.04/mos payment (24,000 km pkg)

Murphy – Wilson That we accept the tender for a 2006 Pickup from Edmonds G.M. at a lease price of $474.90 plus taxes. CARRIED

Council discussed the impact of the budget regarding assessment increases and also the amount of assessment appeals that have already been received. Council reviewed each department budget and will discuss the suggested changes at the next budget meeting scheduled for June 5^th, 2006.

Wilson - Mulligan We adjourn at 11:50am until June 5^th, 2006 or at the call of Reeve. CARRIED
